Alex Alvarez is a Long Island native who spent years watching small businesses around him get burned by big agencies and overwhelmed by DIY tools. Roofers paying for websites that never showed up on Google. Salons signing year-long contracts for social posts that read like a robot wrote them. Auto shops losing leads every night because nobody answered the phone after 5pm.
He started Nova because the problem wasn't talent or budget — it was that no one was building marketing the way a small business owner actually needs it. Modern, coordinated, accountable, and explained in plain English.
Today Nova is a Long Island team handling websites, Google, reviews, phones, social, content, and creative for small businesses across New York. Same idea, same standard: do the work, earn the month, keep it simple.
